Why Donate To CYO
CYO programs could not operate without the support of our donors. It is as simple as that. Thirty-nine percent of our income is non-fee based. Your gift to the CYO assures that no child will be unable to participate because of financial hardship and secures the continuation of CYO programs. All of the gifts that we receive, whether financial, in volunteers’ hours or through prayer, have a positive impact upon our youth. Thank you for your kind support of the Catholic Youth Organization.

Ways to make a difference:
In addition to fundraising events and activities, the Catholic Youth Organization conducts two annual appeals and offers a diverse range of opportunities for donors to contribute in support of CYO. Below is a description of each fund, as well as a brief explanation of the ways in which we process your gifts. We appreciate your interest in making a donation to the Catholic Youth Organization.
Patrons Fund:
The Patrons Fund is an unrestricted fund used to support all of our programs and helps to bridge the gap between our income and expenses.

Annual Appeal:
Each year we reach out to our donors for their continued support. A donation to this fund helps ensure that our mission of helping children will continue for years to come.

Memorial / Tribute Fund:
Many individuals donate to us in memory of a deceased friend or relative or as a tribute that acknowledges a birthday or an anniversary of someone who is or has been involved with CYO.

Sahm-Kuntz Legacy Fund, Corporate Partnership:
Designed to provide financial support for CYO programs now and in the future, Sahm-Kuntz Legacy Fund corporate partners annually contribute $2,000.00 to our organization. Fifty percent of a corporation’s Sahm-Kuntz Legacy Fund gift is used for operating expenses, and the other half is placed into an endowment fund.

Center-City Financial Assistance Fund:
The Center-City Financial Assistance Fund is designed to provide assistance to the inner-city Catholic school CYO programs. This fund has provided assistance in areas such as: uniforms, equipment, maintenance, participation fees and general improvements.

CYO Camp Rancho Framasa Fr. John Elford Campership Fund
Each year CYO Camp Rancho Framasa offers financial assistance to over 30 percent of our campers. Children who would otherwise be unable to spend a week at camp are given the opportunity because of your generosity. One hundred percent of the money donated to the Fr. John Elford Campership Fund is used to help children attend CYO Camp.

CYO Camp Rancho Framasa Patrons Fund:
The CYO Camp Rancho Framasa Patrons Fund has been developed to provide assistance directly to Camp. While the CYO office will always assist Camp with financial support, a donation made on this site will go directly to the Camp Rancho Framasa Fund.
